Carrickmacross Town Council invited submissions by developers to provide new civic offices on its site on the edge of the town. This project was a JV between JH Turkington & Sons and Geda Construction.

We worked on this project for a 2 year period, developing the fully detailed design for 11 buildings within this 40 acre site to RIBA Stage 4. The scheme centred around the new combined civic offices and library building as the main focal point to a civic square. Around the square were positioned 2 mixed use apartment & retail buildings and 2 office buildings, all 3 storeys. Elsewhere on the site were positioned further residential buildings and a hotel. The property crash in 2007 has meant that the project has been placed on hold for the foreseeable future.
